FreQ is not just an app … it is a portal into another dimension in which reality and fantasy have traded places. It is the dimension where the Language of Music is easily translated into the format of Sound.
Guitar FreQ for iPad, iPod or iPhone is a tool for working musicians. It will ease the pain associated with frustrating and unproductive sound checks, recording sessions and rehearsals by opening a line of communication to audio engineers sound technicians and producers. Guitar FreQ is the common denominator in the struggle to equate the universal language of music with science sound.
How it works.
A guitar player needs to hear the sound of his guitar back through an on stage monitor. At first listen the sound has too much bass in it.
With out the “Guitar FreQ” App the player would say “It’s too boomy or dark, can you brighten it up a bit. With “Guitar FreQ” the player can identify the boominess by frequency simply finding the boomy notes …i.e. the two lowest F’s. Looking to the app the player finds the F note by (string and fret) the app gives the corresponding frequencies of (87 Hz/ 174 Hz). Now the player has just translated the language of music into the format of sound.
Features:
-Ease of use
-Ability to hear the selected note playback
-Convert any Musical Note to a Frequency
-No Language Barrier
Eliminate the need to use Colors (too Brown) or Meteorological terms (too Cloudy/ Muddy) to describe audio problems.
